Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Bookkeeper Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Recording and reconciling financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Preparing financial reports and statements for management and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring and analysing budgets and financial performance.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper Accountant or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Relevant professional certifications.
