Our client are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Technician to join our team. As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees, as well as managing and maintaining our computer systems and networks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees, including resolving hardware and software issues, setting up new workstations, and installing software updates.
- Manage and maintain our computer systems and networks, including performing regular maintenance and updates, ensuring data security, and monitoring system performance.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation and user guides for our employees and end-users.
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to develop and implement new solutions and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to ensure that our systems and processes remain competitive and effective.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows and/or Apple MacOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking principles and protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
