Senior Tax Manager

Job Summary:

As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the tax department and providing strategic guidance to the company’s executive team. You will oversee all tax-related activities, including compliance, planning, and reporting, and ensure that the company remains in compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the tax department, including supervising staff and developing tax policies and procedures.
• Provide strategic guidance to the executive team regarding tax planning and compliance issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant parties.
• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, including tax reporting, tax filings, and other tax-related activities.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company’s tax liability and improve financial performance.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise the executive team on any potential impacts.
• Prepare and review tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual tax return.
• Communicate complex tax issues to non-tax professionals in a clear and concise manner.
• Train and mentor staff to ensure their professional development and growth.
• exposure to US tax procedures and processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification required.
• At least 7 years of experience in tax, with a focus on corporate taxation
• Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local taxes.
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
