What experience and skills do we need from candidates willing to fill this position?

Essential:

• Experience of leading several teams and design sprints, with an exceptional skill to communicate, connect the dots across the teams and articulate reasons behind any suggestions you make across the program.
• Possess experience/knowledge of a range of UX and design methods and deliverables (e.g., Wire-framing/Prototyping, UX/UI Design).
• Eager to identify, define and implement new interaction models and methodologies.
• Understanding of Design Principles and Digital Service Standards and its application to internal products and services.
• A self-starter that can work autonomously with the skill to lead by example, wielding authority and conviction, and ability to work seamlessly and collaboratively with senior project team and product owners
• Strong interpersonal skills, and open to giving and receiving constructive feedback to learn and further develop yourself as a UX professional.
• Lead User Experience design governance across the programme, establish design standards and challenge and shape the programme user experience principles using a varied range of user-based testing methodologies.
• Skill to create and develop upon design systems
• Have a natural aptitude for technology and innovation, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies and troubleshoot them independently.
• Ability to paper prototype, sketching within the ideation process to communicate fulfilment of business/user goals within a UI to initiate co-creation streams

What you must have:

• Experience in Digital Design
• Strong knowledge of UX methodologies is a must
• Run research-based workshop sessions
• Deep understanding of typography, colour, layout, and motion design principles
• Strong domain knowledge of different digital platforms (iOS/Android, Windows/Mac)
• Extensive knowledge of Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Entrepreneurial attitude and vision
• Bring ideas to life in industry standard tools: After Effects, Invision, Framer or Principle
• Comfortable working within a fast paced, creative, and rapidly changing environment
• Experience designing considered user interfaces for digital products and services
• Ability to meet and exceed expectations under tight timelines
