Credit Controller

Next Best Move Recruitment is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Credit Controller for our client, a leading finance company based in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising the company’s credit control processes, ensuring smooth cash flow and minimising overdue debts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage and collect outstanding debt from customers
• Reconcile accounts and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
• Monitor customer credit limits and manage credit risk
• Generate reports on aged debt and debtor performance
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to address and resolve payment issues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collection activities
• Support month-end processes and provide insights into debt collection efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Credit Controller, ideally within the finance or corporate sectors
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts with attention to detail
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
• Proactive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team
• Hybrid working experience is advantageous
