Finance Controller

Our client seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to take charge of their financial operations, offering the chance to significantly contribute to their growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and annual statutory reports.
  • Ensure accurate quarterly VAT returns and manage corporation tax.
  • Daily cash flow monitoring, planning, and cost analysis.
  • Oversee banking relationships and manage HMRC compliance.
• Leadership & Team Development
  • Supervise and support a team of three, providing guidance and fostering growth.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate team members to ensure high standards.
  • Serve as a key influence in the team, driving efficiency and accuracy.
• Process Improvement & Analysis
  • Lead cash flow forecasting and manage debt facilities.
  • Review costs and recommend efficiency improvements.
  • Develop systems and processes to streamline bank reconciliations and payroll.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: CA or CIMA certified with strong accounting expertise.
• Experience: 5-10+ years in accounting, with management experience preferred.
• Skills: Proven track record of accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance.
