Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are paid on time.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and prepare reports for senior management.
- Manage VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
- Support with audits and assist in preparing year-end accounts.
Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts assistant role.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
