Financial Controller

We are recruiting an experienced Financial Controller for a prestigious membership organisation based in the West End. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on operational and strategic financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and provide detailed financial analysis.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Supervise the finance team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, including VAT.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Ideal Candidate:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience within the non-profit or membership organisation sector is desirable.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
