About the Role:

As Accounts Assistant, you’ll support the finance team to ensure resources are well-managed and funds are directed to our charitable goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Handle incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment in line with our standards.
- Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial records.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable: Process payments, manage receipts, and monitor outstanding balances.
- Support Month-End Processes: Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
- Financial Data Management: Update financial records accurately and contribute to reporting activities.
- Collaborative Projects: Work with other departments to provide financial support on projects that further our mission.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Prior experience in an Accounts Assistant role, ideally within the not-for-profit or charity sector.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and consistency when handling financial information.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
- Proficiency in Finance Software: Familiar with accounting systems and proficient in Excel.
