Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the team as a Bookkeeper Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Recording and reconciling financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
  • Preparing financial reports and statements for management and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and analysing budgets and financial performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications.
