Facilities Manager

Our client are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings and equipment are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement facilities maintenance plans and schedules, including preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Manage and supervise maintenance and janitorial staff, contractors, and vendors, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Develop and manage facilities budgets and expenditures, including forecasting and cost analysis.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that facilities needs are met and that resources are used efficiently.
• Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce energy and resource consumption, minimize waste, and promote environmental stewardship.
• Develop and maintain records and documentation related to facilities operations and maintenance, including work orders, inventory, and budget reports.
• Oversee security and access control systems, including surveillance cameras, key cards, and security personnel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
• Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Strong leadership and management skills, including experience managing staff and contractors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Familiarity with sustainability and green building practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of relevant software applications
