Head Of IT

A B2B events firm that works in the UK’s energy, defence, security, finance, pharmaceutical, and utility industries is our customer. 

They are seeking a head of IT to contribute to the smooth delivery and administration of their IT systems and infrastructure now that they are under new management. To assist in overseeing the creation of their IT strategy roadmap, you will collaborate closely with the managing director and assume a position on the leadership team. 

A well-rounded IT professional with a solid technical foundation and project management expertise is what they’re seeking for. 

Responsibilities 

• Management of development, implementation, and security of IT services. 
• Hiring, developing and training talent. 
• Work closely with Head Office to ensure projects are delivered OTIF, whilst continuing to manage and meet local demands and SLAs. 
• Overseeing the IT strategy roadmap to support the business strategy. 
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the IT infrastructure. 
• Project Management including hardware 7 software system reviews and implementation. 
• Website / CMS / CRM maintenance.
   

Required Technical Experience 

• Marketing technologies & CRM – Salesforce, Market etc 
• MS SQL Server / Exchange / Office Suite 
• Internet Protocols – HTML / CSS 
• Networking – DHCP / DNS / TCP/IP 
• Understanding of PCI-DSS policy (beneficial) 
• Knowledge of GDPR requirements
