An established and respected membership organisation based in the West End is looking for a meticulous and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to grow their career while supporting a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to its members’ professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain and update HR records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GDPR.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including issuing contracts, coordinating inductions, and processing leaver documentation.
- Recruitment Support:
- Assist with recruitment campaigns, including placing job advertisements, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications.
- Maintain a recruitment tracker and produce regular updates for hiring managers.
- HR Operations:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing advice or escalating as necessary.
- Support payroll processing by providing accurate employee data and updates to the finance team.
- Administer benefits, including enrolment, changes, and queries.
- Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure the organisation’s HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and communicated effectively.
- Assist in the implementation of HR initiatives and projects aligned with organisational goals.
- Learning and Development:
- Coordinate training schedules, maintain training records, and support professional development initiatives.
- Provide administrative support for internal and external events related to employee engagement and development.
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in an HR administrative role, preferably within a not-for-profit or membership-based organisation.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach and a passion for supporting a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification (desirable).
- Awareness of employment law and GDPR compliance.
