We are recruiting for our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector, who is seeking a skilled and strategic HR Business Partner to join their team in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and drive impactful HR initiatives that align with the business’s goals.

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering HR strategies, implementing organisational change initiatives, and building leadership capacity, all while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leadership to understand business objectives and deliver effective HR solutions.
  • Lead on succession planning, talent management, and skills gap analysis to support organisational growth.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters.
  • Drive change management projects such as restructures and cultural transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, processes, and frameworks that enhance organisational performance.
  • Coach and support managers to strengthen leadership capability and promote engagement.
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support the delivery of HR projects to meet business and people objectives.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, ideally within financial services or a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices, with a track record of managing complex ER issues.
  • Experience in leading organisational change and working with senior leaders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to challenge, influence, and coach effectively.
  • Analytical skills to interpret HR metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is highly desirable.
