Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager with expertise in Disaster Recovery, you’ll collaborate closely with Service Delivery Managers, the Law Enforcement Technical Services Team, and the Infrastructure and Environments team to define the scope for Disaster Recovery exercises. You will be responsible for coordinating the disaster recovery testing, ensuring minimal disruption by managing environment restrictions, application upgrades, and planned maintenance.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with practical experience in AGILE methodology.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering high-profile projects, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are completed in line with contractual agreements.
  • Essential experience in Disaster Recovery planning and execution.
  • Technical awareness and experience managing technical projects, with proficiency in MS Project.
  • Experience managing Digital Change and Transformation projects, from initiation to project closure.
  • Desirable certifications: PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile Project Management Practitioner, APM Project Management qualification, and APM Practitioner qualification.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Selecting and applying appropriate delivery methodologies based on project needs.
  • Identifying project risks and issues, implementing mitigating actions, and escalating where necessary.
  • Providing regular reports to support effective governance and decision-making.
  • Ensuring change management processes are followed efficiently.
  • Developing Business Cases and other project documentation.
  • Building comprehensive project plans that align with project principles to achieve objectives.
  • Tracking project progress and reporting on delivery milestones.
