We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused 2nd Line Support professional to join a prestigious Financial Services organisation in Central London. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and providing advanced support to users, enabling the business to maintain its high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
- Collaborate with the IT team and third-party vendors to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Manage user accounts and permissions across various platforms, ensuring security compliance.
- Document technical issues and resolutions to build a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Provide support for on-premises and cloud-based systems.
- Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades and new technology rollouts.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support or similar IT role.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and networking protocols.
- Experience with financial services systems and software is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices is a plus.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to resolving issues and supporting team goals.
